Washington demonstrated various SFX techniques on the Porch, including creating realistic cuts and enhancing zombie makeup.
To create a realistic blood effect, Washington recommends a simple recipe: mix 2 tablespoons of corn syrup with 5 to 6 drops of red food dye and 1 to 2 drops of blue food dye. For a clotted look, stir in ground coffee.
