Tulsa County DA Frustrated With Sentence In Child Sexual Abuse Case

Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler said he has no words to describe his frustration after a judge sentenced a man to 40 years probation after conviction of two counts of child sexual abuse.

The jury recommended Shawn Canady go to jail for 20 years on each count.

The DA said the sentence is devastating for the girls who came forward and testified about their abuse.
