Sand Springs Woman Sentenced For Church Theft Of Over $900,000

A Sand Springs woman is headed to federal prison for two and a half years after taking more than $900,000 from a church.

Investigators said while Katrenia Hartman was working as an office manager for a church, she would write checks to herself from the church's account and then falsify the books to cover her tracks.

They said she also faked $78,000 in medical expenses on her taxes.

She was ordered to reimburse the church and the IRS.
