Two people were hurt after a car T-boned another vehicle making a turn near 41st and Garnett.

A car trying to turn left was hit by another driver who officers think may have been speeding, officers said.

A man driving a Nissan hit an elderly woman driving a Kia, as she was trying to make a left turn, officers said.

Officers said the driver of that Nissan may have been speeding.

Police said they’ve had a very busy day of serious crashes Friday and don’t know why, but they're urging drivers to slow down and pay attention.

“For some reason, we’re having a lot of severe crashes today after a chill week," said Officer Craig Heatherly. "I don’t know if it’s the good weather or it’s Friday or all of the above, but please slow down. Be aware of your surroundings.”
