The Oklahoma City Thunder was part of a three-team trade that sent forward Ryan Gomes to Boston with Memphis sending a pair of conditional second-round draft picks in return.
The Thunder played the role of facilitator for Boston and Memphis who swapped respective guards Courtney Lee and Jerryd Bayless. Oklahoma City also gave up cash considerations to the Grizzlies and Boston also threw in a 2016 second-round draft pick.
The Thunder acquired Philadelphia's 2014 second-round pick, which was owned by the Grizzlies, as well as Memphis' second-round pick in 2017. The 76'ers pick is top-50 protected, as well as 56-60 protected.
Gomes was in his first season with the Thunder and had appeared in just five games. He had scored six points this season.
The move clears Gomes' $1.2 million off the books and puts the Thunder approximately $2.3 million below the luxury tax.
