There will be a shakeup in the Thunder's starting lineup in Sunday night's Game 3 contest at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
Oklahoma City coach Scott Brooks confirmed in his pregame press conference that Serge Ibaka will move back into the starting lineup after missing the past two games with a calf injury that was originally reported to keep him out the remainder of the season. Brooks said Ibaka will have no minute restrictions in the game and will likely ride the elliptical bike whenever he's not in the game to stay loose.
But that isn't the only move OKC's coaching staff is making in an effort to get back into this series.
Brooks also said that Reggie Jackson will start instead of Thabo Sefolosha at shooting guard in an effort to give OKC a more viable offensive option beside Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said he will not make any lineup changes in response to the Thunder's moves.
The Thunder currently trails San Antonio 2-0 in this best-of-seven Western Conference Finals matchup.
Game 3 is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
