Employees at a restaurant at Remington Park in Oklahoma City, were evacuated Friday morning due to a kitchen fire.
According to the fire department, just before 9 a.m., crews responded to the fire in the kitchen of the Bricktown Brewery at Remington Park. Employees were evacuated.
Firefighters on the scene reported seeing moderate smoke. They were able to put out the fire quickly.
No one was injured.
According to fire officials, two employees opened the smoker and found fire inside. They tried to put it out with fire extinguishers. But the fire started to get out of control, and they were unable to put it out. That's when they called 911.
Officials said the restaurant's sprinkler system was deployed. The fire was contained to the kitchen.
