The Thunder finally took a loss this summer.
Oklahoma City got a double double from rookie Dakari Johnson but still fell to the Clippers, 80-63, in its third game of the summer circuit.
Johnson’s 10 points and 10 boards was the Thunder’s (2-1) lone bright spot as they were outscored in every quarter. Semaj Christon added 10 points and three assists to go with three turnovers.
Rookie Quinn Cook, the point guard on Duke’s title team, scored eight points on 4-of-10 shooting to go with five boards and four assists. The sharpshooter, however, missed all four of his 3-point attempts.
C.J. Wilcox, the former Washington Husky, led the Clips with 22 points.
The Thunder is back at it on Thursday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
