Kendrick Perkins Opens Up About Kevin Durant's Upcoming Free Agency

Most of the gossip throughout the NBA this past season has undoubtedly been centered the upcoming free agency of Thunder superstar Kevin Durant. There have been different talking heads who've linked Durant to various teams such as the Wizards, Knicks, Lakers, Heat, Warriors, Celtics and Spurs, while its likely more teams will emerge as possible suitors for the 2014 NBA MVP.

Many people are searching for answers on where Durant will land if he decides to leave, and Gary Washburn from the Boston Globe made an attempt to get some info out of former Thunder center Kendrick Perkins, who was in Boston when his Pelicans were visiting the Celtics on Wednesday.

Kendrick Perkins on whether Durant stays in OKC: "It's a possibility. I think it all determines on what happens in these playoffs." #Thunder

Perkins continued: "They win it all, (Durant) can't leave (OKC) in my opinion. But if they don't, it might be time for a change." #Thunder

Perkins clearly didn't give away his complete thoughts on the subject, but him suggesting it may be time for a change if OKC doesn't win it all likely won't sit well with many Thunder fans.
