Kyler Murray sat out the Sooners' first offensive series then came on to pass for 432 yards and six touchdowns to help No. 6 Oklahoma defeat Baylor 66-33 on Saturday. 

While players like Baker Mayfield are guaranteed a spot this season, his former sooner teammate and undrafted receiver Jordan Smallwood is battling for a spot on the Kansas City Chiefs. 

There's a strong case to be made that coach Lincoln Riley should think long and hard about Austin Kendall - not Kyler Murray - in the starting role.
