It's been a dream start for the Oklahoma Sooners with a win over Texas to improve to 6-0.

As promising as the team looks, Brent Venables says there is a "long list" of areas in which they can improve.

Let's start with the defense. An impressive showing up front, but the Sooners need to shore-up their tackling at the second and third levels.

Jonathan Brooks was running through arm tackles like good backs do. You have to bring your feet, and you have to find a way to get guys on the ground to eliminate the big plays, like a 31-yard game-tying touchdown.

Offensively, the run game is still suspect. If you take away Oklahoma quarterback Dillon Gabriel's scramble yards, OU averaged just 3 yards per carry against Texas. That's not championship football.

But the new, pressing question: Who will step up to fill the role of wide receiver Andrel Anthony? He's out for the season.

OU has speedy receivers like Brenen Thompson and Jaquez Pettaway... those guys will be called upon to fill a huge void left by a guy who was having a breakout year.
