The Tulsa Police Department's 911 services were restored after a brief routing issue disrupted phone lines connected to the city's 911 dispatch.

TPD said incoming 911 calls were transferred improperly by the network for a brief time. While initially reported as an outage, Tulsa Police later clarified to state that they never lost functionality.

Residents were asked to call the department at (918) 596-9222 in case of an emergency.
