KOTV introduced television to Tulsa when it first aired in October of 1949. The driving force behind it was a woman in her twenties who became the first female television station general manager. The station continues to embody her same spirit of innovation and leadership.

News On 6 has proudly called downtown Tulsa home, from our first start in an old International Harvester dealership to our current location in the Griffin Media Center.
