The family-owned shop near 71st and Memorial serves up bold drinks and vibrant culture in a colorful setting.
A Tulsa Coffee Experience With a Twist
A new coffee shop is turning heads near 71st Street and Memorial Drive — not just for its lattes, but for its lucha libre theme. Luchador Coffee officially opened its doors in Tulsa, bringing a splash of Mexican culture to the local caffeine scene.
Originally launched in Sacramento, California, the concept was brought to Oklahoma by Vianca Silva, who wanted to expand her brother’s original idea. After a grand opening in July 2025, Silva said the family has already received strong support from the Tulsa community.
Wrestling Meets Coffee Culture
Step inside Luchador Coffee, and you'll find a space filled with color, energy and nods to Mexican wrestling. The café features playful touches like lucha-themed artwork, “lucha” ice cubes and even espresso whip topping.
It’s a coffee shop unlike anything else in Tulsa — and that’s exactly the point.
A Menu Rooted in Mexican Traditions
The menu offers a wide variety of traditional and Mexican-inspired drinks, including:
“We have your traditional horchata latte that everyone carries now,” said Silva. “We have a Mazapan latte, which is like a peanut candy latte. We have a dulce de leche latte which we make in-house, and then we have coconut, mint, we have chocolate hazelnut, a bunch of different specialty ones too.”
A New Gathering Spot in Tulsa
Beyond the drinks, the shop is designed to be a fun, welcoming place for the community. Whether you’re looking for a sweet caffeine fix or just want to experience something different, Luchador Coffee offers a unique option for Tulsa residents.
