Tulsa police say no arrests have been made after a man in his 20s was found shot at River West Apartments

A shooting at a Tulsa apartment complex early Wednesday morning has left a 22-year-old man hospitalized and police searching for answers. Officers responded to the River West Apartments, near 2200 S. Jackson Ave., shortly after midnight following reports of a gunshot.

What Police Found at the Scene

Tulsa officers arrived to find a man in his 20s with a gunshot wound to the stomach. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, where he underwent surgery. His current condition has not been released.

Witnesses Describe Concern

A resident told officers they initially thought the loud noise was fireworks. But after stepping outside, they discovered the victim lying on the ground.

One Shot Fired, No Arrests So Far

According to Tulsa Police, only one shot was fired in the incident. No arrests have been made, and no suspect description is currently available. Investigators are still working to gather information and speak with potential witnesses.
