Norman police asking witnesses of Campus Corner bar fight to come forward

A metro teenager remained hospitalized on Thursday with a brain bleed following a fight outside a bar on Campus Corner in Norman. Police are asking for the public’s help in the investigation.

Police said the fight broke out on Saturday between an 18-year-old and a bouncer employed by "The Wagon" on Campus Corner between the hours of 1:30 and 3 a.m. Officers were dispatched to Norman Regional Hospital Healthplex to speak to possible witnesses and learned from doctors the victim was in critical condition with a severe brain bleed.

The report did not name the teenager or the bouncer but documented the bar employee's age as 41 years old. Police said the bouncer and all other parties involved were cooperating with the investigation and no arrests have been made.

News 9 did speak to a bar manager. The manager said there are no cameras located on the outside of the building. He also stated he was not working the night of the incident and could not offer any further details.
