A man is in custody after Owasso Police say he broke into an Ace Hardware Store and attempted to steal several boxes of power tools.

Officers say they responded to a burglary alarm near 116th Street North and Garnett, and arrived to find a trail of power tool boxes scattered across the store floor and leading to the back door.

Outside the building, police say they discovered a bicycle and a tarp loaded with unopened power tools, which police say were stolen from inside the store.

Investigators say security footage reviewed by investigators showed a man, later identified as Dustin Justice, removing merchandise from the back of the store.

Justice, a tribal citizen, was arrested at the scene and booked into the Rogers County Jail.

The case remains under investigation.
