31st and Memorial Rescue: Injured dog saved from steep creek bed

Tulsa firefighters rescued an injured dog that got trapped in a creek bed near 31st and Memorial.

The fire department says someone spotted the injured dog in distress and called 911.

It says firefighters quickly responded and used an attic ladder to climb down into the steep creek bed, carrying the dog out to safety.

Firefighters say the dog has a significant leg injury and was extremely weak, but is now receiving medical care.
