Memorial service set for former Oklahoma Gov. David Boren

A public memorial service honoring the life and legacy of David Boren is scheduled for late March, organizers say.

The former Oklahoma governor, U.S. senator, and University of Oklahoma president died last week at 83 years old.

The service will be held at 2 p.m. on March 29 at Saint Luke's Methodist Church on Northwest 15th Street and North Broadway Avenue in Oklahoma City.

A reception will follow the memorial service.
