Dave Davis is a Tulsa news anchor and co-host of 6 In The Morning on News On 6, bringing Oklahomans the latest headlines, financial insights, and local stories every weekday from 5–10 a.m. A Regional Emmy Award winner and Edward R. Murrow Award recipient, Dave is dedicated to delivering accurate and engaging news to Tulsa viewers.

Broadcasting Career & Journalism Experience

Dave’s journalism career began after graduating from the University of Toledo with a dual major in Communications and Spanish. His first role in television was as a sports anchor and reporter at KLST in San Angelo, Texas.

Since joining KOTV in 2010, he has worked in a variety of roles, including:
  1. OKBlitz Sports Multi-Media Journalist
  2. Video editor
  3. Breaking news reporter
  4. News On 6 at Noon Anchor (2014-2019)
  5. Co-Anchor of 6 In The Morning (2019-present)

Dave specializes in personal and family finance. He also aims to help Oklahomans understand how complex national and international financial developments impact their daily lives.

Community & Personal Life

A proud Tulsa resident, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. When he's not in the newsroom, he loves reading, playing piano, and staying active with basketball and pickleball. He is passionate about meeting new people and telling their stories.
